What Will Happen In 2012?

By now you have all heard about the 2012 doomsday conspiracy. Will it happen? How will it happen? Where will it start? WILL WE SURVIVE? These are the questions you will find all over the internet when you look for discussions on ‘2012’.

I actually used to dedicate all my time to music last year so I was really quite disconnected with the world (except for those front page headlines on the newspapers). One day, one of my friends called me up and told me to check out ‘www.2012warning.com’. Initially it looked like a joke to me, I laughed at the countdown at the top of the site. But after going through that site, I started getting into this subject. I literally spent months searching the net about 2012.

Nostradamus is said to have predicted Hitler’s regime and 7/11. Though I doubt his genuinity, he is treated like god in some places. He predicted 2012 to be the end of the world.

The Mayans are said to be the world’s best astronomers. Without electronic development, their research is beyond words. The Mayan calendar ends on 2012.

But the most convincing thing for me and many others is Albert Einstein. Though Einstein didn’t say that the world will end on 2012, he gave the Pole Shift Theory. This is when the South Pole will become the North Pole and the North Pole will become the South Pole. Major catastrophes are said to take place during this shift.

I have read many different theories on the internet where some people feel that aliens are going to kill us for destroying earth (somebody seems to have seen ‘The Day The Earth Stood Still’ a million time too may) and some others feel that NASA did something stupid which has resulted into this so-called ‘doomsday’.

But there is one theory which I have found interesting on the web: A huge planet the size of Jupiter has an orbital track which collides with the Earth’s orbit (Nibiru). Apparently this planet will pass through earth’s orbital track every 2300 years. Once this passes through our orbit, pole shift will start on Earth and tsunamis, volcanoes, earthquakes & tornadoes will rage the planet. This will continue for two years. Then new life will form and new landscapes, new creatures, and new animals. This so-called doomsday occurs every 2300 years and the writer of this theory feels that this is the reason for the Easter Island mystery and the sinking of Atlantis.

I feel that though the above theory is interesting, it seems highly unlikely. So I guess we will never know what will happen in 2012 till 2012.

Actually the director of ‘Independence Day’ and ‘The Day after Tomorrow’ is releasing a movie called ‘2012’ this November which is based on this 2012 conspiracy. I have seen the new trailer and I am extremely satisfied with it. I really want to watch this movie and I surely recommend it to everyone.
