Kylie Minogue “Chiggy-Wiggy”s India

Australian Singer-Songwriter and actress Kylie Minogue teamed up with India’s music pride, Oscar Winner A.R. Rahman for the song ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ from the upcoming Bollywood release ‘Blue’. Though the movie is set to release tomorrow, the soundtrack released well before hand along with the music videos. ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ has received an amazingly response from the Indian audience and Kylie Minogue now became a household name in India.
A.R. Rahman, who received immense global fame for the British film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, was quoted saying “By working with Kylie, I was able to create something truly unique for fans – the music fuses the cultures of mainstream pop, Hindi and Bhangra.”
This new underwater thriller ‘Blue’ is said my media as “the most expensive movie in the history of Bollywood” and tipped by the lead-star Akshay Kumar as the “most dangerous film ever”
This movie is Kylie’s second silver screen appearance after ‘Moulin Rogue!’ and her first film in Asia.
The Kylie-Rahman fusion took India by storm and gave her amazing exposure to over 1 billion people.
Acclaimed Indo-American statesman Rajan Zed has welcomed the West-East musical collaboration this film and Kylie offered and invited other world composers to joint ventures with Indian musicians.
